The Greater Vancouver Food Bank is excited to announce the first annual FOODSTOCK, presented by 102.7 THE PEAK.  The event will feature local bands, local breweries and beverage partners, and food trucks.  Bring a blanket or your own lawn chairs to stake out a spot on the Swangard Stadium field to spend the day.  

Music will include sets from Bend Sinister, Sleepy Gonzales, Generous Thieves, Noodle Boys, Uncle Strut, Green Alderson, Madelyn Read, and Good Goin’.

Enjoy beverages from Strange Fellows Brewing, Luppolo Brewing Company, Dageraad Brewing, Bomber Brewing, Studio Brewing, Bridge Brewing, Wildeye Brewing, NUDE Beverages and more to be announced.  50% of the proceeds from all beverage sales will be donated to the GVFB.

Food Trucks, including Beavertails, Kyu Grill, Shameless Buns, Wings, and Reel Mac n Cheese, will be serving tasty eats.  10% of all food sales will be donated to the GVFB.

Tickets are $50 (plus taxes and fees) or $160 for a group of 4. Each ticket includes one beverage ticket to be used at the vendor of your choice.  Additional beverage tickets will be on sale on site.  Order a limited edition Foodstock t-shirt when you buy your tickets online!

Please note that all public health orders in effect at the time of the event will be respected.  Should masks be required, or the confirmation of vaccination status, the GVFB will adhere to those orders for the safety of all attendees, staff, volunteers and partners.

The Greater Vancouver Food Bank serves 10,000 people directly each month in Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and the North Shore and works with 110 Community Agency Partners to serve thousand more.  They focus heavily on providing nutritious food to those in need, with more than 50% of what goes out to clients and CAP’s being fresh produce, proteins and dairy.  For the 33% of clients that are children, the GVFB offers three Specialized Nutrition Programs: Baby Steps for 0 to 24 month olds, Preschooler Packs for 2 to 5 year olds and Grade Schooler Packs for 6 to 12 year olds.  The brand new Seniors Program provides targeted nutrition for the 18% of clients who are 65+.
