This Valentine’s Day, THE PEAK is celebrating Puppy Love!
Valentine’s Day isn’t just for couples. Some celebrate with friends, some with family, and some celebrate with their four-legged furry companions!

Congratulations to our Puppy Love winner Ainsley and their dog Gary! They won a $250 Pet Smart gift card and we will be donating the same to the New Westminster Animal Shelter, the same shelter that rescued Gary!
Ainsley adopted Gary from the New Westminster Animal Shelter. He’s a rescue that was found on the streets of New West emaciated and really sad. He has blossomed and is loving his new health and happiness! She describes Gary as a house hippo of unknown heritage. Approximately 4 or 5 years old. LOVES his ball. Dislikes being away from her. He’s a lemon that was scared of his own shadow when she first adopted him. They take him camping and on adventures so he’s becoming a little bit braver.

- Puppy Love on 102.7 THE PEAK (The “Contest”) runs from 6am PST on Monday, January 31st until 11:59pm on Monday, February 14th.
- There is one (1) prize of a $250.00 gift card for Pet Smart. A $250.00 gift card for Pet Smart will also be donated to a charity on behalf of the winner.
- To be eligible to win a prize in The Contest, a contestant must (a) be a legal resident of British Columbia and (b) be at least nineteen (19) years of age or older or have a parent or guardian who is at least nineteen (19) years of age or older to claim any prize.
- To enter the contest, you must submit a photo and details of your pet to thepeak.fm. All pets are welcome. By entering this contest, you are giving us permission to share your Puppy Love story and photo publicly. We will be sharing some of the photos and stories online and on-air, this may include your name, your pet’s name, and your city. We will not share any other personal information such as your address, phone number, email, or birthday.
- One eligible entrant will be randomly selected as the winner and contacted by phone on Monday, February 14th.
